The DATAIR-1500/SR Handheld MIL-STD-1553 Data Monitor is an easy to use diagnostic tool.
The
DATAIR-1500/SR provides a solution to most analysis and diagnostic requirements when viewing a
MIL-STD-1553 bus, without having the inconvenience of carrying a PC notebook around.
Its use is analogous to using a digital voltmeter for analogue applications. It allows connection of the
MIL-STD-1553 Triax
connector on the end of the handheld unit for instantaneous display of
valuable
MIL-STD-1553 information on bus traffic, polling rates, non-responding RT's, low word counts, etc.
Data is also displayable in hexadecimal, binary and user definable engineering unit formats.
An Engineering Units Definition Windows software package is supplied to
allow definition of custom display formats. The DATAIR-1500/SR has a very simple to use menu
structure via a 4 line by 16 character LCD and a three button interface.
